Jon Pocock holds a Bachelors degree in Chemical with Minerals Engineering and a PhD in Chemical Engineering.  

He is currently part of the UKZN team participating in the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Reinvent the Toilet Challenge, an international research project aimed at providing novel sanitation solutions for low income communities.
