Professor Brian Loveday


Professor Loveday completed a PhD on flotation at the Natal University (NU) in 1996 and then worked at the National Institute for Metallurgy on various projects, including uranium refining, process optimization by simulation, copper/nickel solvent extraction and autogenous grinding.

He moved to Anglo American as Manager of AARL (200 + persons) and was later a consultant in the AAC head office. He moved to UN in 1992 and was Head of Chem. Eng. from 1995 to 2000.
